It took me a while to find a picture of a mockingbird that looked like I'm used to seeing them: perturbed and perturbing. I know: it's a sin to kill a mockingbird 'cause they don't hurt nobody. Unless you consider mental anguish "hurt." Seriously. These are some loud, greedy, territorial birds. They chase off all the other songbirds. They steal dog hair for their nests-- directly off the dog. They harass me and squawk and dive bomb me when I'm working in the yard. I tell ya, man. They're little fuckers.
