Doing a good thing for a bad reason.
I was watching SNL and saw this skit with Will Forte playing a coach giving a half-time pep-talk to his team. He puts in a cassette of the theme from Casino Royale and does this brilliantly stupid dance to it. I loved it and-- as I am just mad about the song and appreciate a really silly dance-- laughed heartily at it.
You may see for yourself if you dare. (Sorry I don't know how to embed a Google vIdeo.)
But. I also feell a little... I don't know... uneasy about it. If I think this is funny, what's next? Paying to see Will Ferrell movies? Am I headed for Blue Collar Comedy?
Relax. It is 1967 again and you are GROOVY. Feel free to physically express yourself to the swinging sounds of Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass. Go ahead; dance silly! Then cool it back down with the sultry sounds of Dusty Springfield. Hey, I think she's giving you a "look."
